milestones....to be continued

Day by day, Sherry is improving immensely...She's passed her swallow test last week...woo hoo.... one step closer to the trach being out. As of Friday, Sept 5 she is now able to talk. I got a call last week, it was her boyfriend, Vincent phone that showed up on my caller id...and low and behold i hear a womans voice, so soft saying "hi". It was Sherry!!!! I was so extatic!! She said see was by the fish tank that my family and all the other families sat by in the waiting room, staring at...all day. She's getting out of bed. Learning how to walk again. She's still very much processing what has happened to her thoughts become more clearer day by day, she's scared, happy, and grateful for everyones support and prayers. She will soon be transferred out of the icu....waiting on rehab...Thoughts of concern now are her eyes, she's got some abrasions so the she lives in a blurry world right now....thank you for all your support!!!
